WEC supported MRC group in the development of a conceptual framework for designing user charge for off-grid solutions. WEC worked with a group of international consultants to review international regulatory approaches to mini-grid tariffs to determine the most suitable approach that will be required in de-risking solar PV mini-grids in Tanzania.

This will enable the regulator determine the best business models suitable for off-grid market.
